warm start problem 900 95

In december I wrote about this problem for the first time. I got some replys, but I did not print them out, and canīt find them in the archive either.

The problem:

My 960-95 with 2,5 liter engine wont start at the first attempt. This is only with WARM engine. Cold starts, no problem.

Then, at the second attempt it start immediately.

Now back to the first attempt! It will not start even if you let the start-engine work for one minute! No ignition. It just will not start. Then at the second attempt it starts immediately.

Another thing. If you let the first start attempt last just 1 sec, thne it also start immediately at the second attempt!

Finally; This phenomenon occure only when the enginge has been shut off for at least lets say 10 min or so.

Before I go to the Volvoshop and buy expensive spareparts, that not will do any difference to the problem, I put out this question to the BRICKBOARDS FORUM!

Nils Ericson, Sweden

(there is a swedish saying: donīt cross/go ower the creek to get water! But i cross the atlantic for an answer about a Volvo...)
