timing? poor low rpm performance. 200 1975

Yesterday afternoon I was driving my 245 home and encountered a little case of oversteer going around a left corner and lost traction for a few seconds. I might have overevved but it' hard to say as I don't have a tach. After that on my way home I noticed that the low RPM power was lacking to say the least the car will seem to miss until it reached higher rpm's when it really starts to go (better than it has in the past at high rpms) but at low rpm's it seems to be off, I checked the timing and it seems to be right on. any ideas on what it might be?

Car has a B20f with 208,500 miles on it no rebuild and never been apart. I was thinking it might be the fiber gear but the timing being right on has thrown me. I haven't checked anything else.

Any Ideas???? Please reply to me by e-mail if possible as I don't always have time to check on here.

Thanks in Advance!!!
