rear axle main bushings? 200 1985

How do you remove the rear axle bushings and get the new ones in? Is this a shade tree job or do i need to seek out the profesional for this job. Also the car starts singing at about 45mph and the heater is off or on with no in between setting. My wife loves her volvo and drives it all the time but wants me to fix every little thing about it. I already done had the motor out and rebuilt it. Done okay except for the oil leaking out some around the back of the engine crank seal. Maybe I should have drove that seal in further. It sure seemed like a good idea at the time to not drive it all the way in so that it would ride on a new part of the crank. Ole well, live and learn.
