Thanks all for "shorted oil guage" 200 1984Turbo

Hey,

Thanks to everybody who replied...you were all right. It is located between the oil filter and alternator (which would explain why it stopped working after an oil change, and started working after I got alternator replaced.). I guess the Hanes book was wrong...not suprised. The wire had just become loose and was just sittng there dangling...waiting for me to put the connector back on the sender (the idiot light is connected to the same sender...but it was on there tight)! How easy was that? And yes, the Turbo WAS in the way....but thanks...no short, just disconnected...........

-Jason
