ABS HELP!! 700 1988

Hello guys and gals,

I have an ABS problem that my dealer wants to charge an ARM and a LEG to fix and in the mean time,TIME to save money for it. If I take both fuses for the ABS out will I still get the annoying ABS light on the dash? Can anyone give me advise on how to get rid of the light? Also I need to replace the blubs on the panel where the sunroof switch is, anyone have any pointers since I have never taken this panel off? Thanks for any info!!
