Re: ABS HELP!! 700 1988

The easiest way to get rid of the ABS light would be to use a piece of electrical tape cut into a sqaure and placed over the light - "the Homer Simpson Technique".

As far as the lights I just replaced these this morning. The problem with these lights is that the wires arent't long enough to slide the light into the correct slot with the panel out of dash. The easiset way to get these in is to take of the panel underneat the dash (might be called the kick panel) it comes out rather easy and you can reach up behind the switches to replace the lights. I forget the part number but they can cost anywhere from 5 dollars to 9 dollars. there are two lights on each side that slide into a fiber optic kinda deal (really just a square reflective tube) that light up the 3 to 4 switches each side.
