>>> How to get extar HP.... more info. I need your opinion!!! 200 "90

Hi again and thanks for answers.

I had good feedback from this forum and here is my follow-up on my first question. "how to get extra hp"

One way mentionned to me was to change the cam.

Here are the numbers I have.

I have a 230F with "M" cam. Engine is rated at 114hp @ 5400rpm and 136lb @ 2750rpm.

Available to me is a "K" cam rated at 136hp @ 5500rpm and 140lb @ 4500rpm.

My first question is, will I see a significant increase in power if I change to "K" cam? Yes the hp is up, but the torque is pretty much the same. PLus, i'd have to wind the engine faster to get to the same torque rating. ???

Question #2, I have european spec numbers at 131hp @ 5400rpm and 140lb @ 3600rpm. (b230e) Can I expect these specs with this cam??? Looks like more of an improvement looking at torque vs engine speed.

And last question. It's not obvious to me how to look at HP ratings. How do torque ratings relate to actual acceleration compared to HP???

ALL answers welcome!!!
