242GLTsoon to become 242GLTi/question 200 83

Hi guys,

am intercooling, rebuilding and intake swapping an 83 242glt as well as upper end rebuilding.About to reinstall the rebuilt head and was just dry fitting the intercooler and ran into a minor fit problem.

The intercooler came into contact with the oil cooler.Might need to move the oil cooler.Ideas?

The intercooler does not fit the bracket position very well.I guess some bracket fitting will do.The mods section on Turbobricks doesnt go this far in detail I dont think.

The transmission lines to radiator fittings did not seem to want to fit the radiator position perfectly. The depth is different,of course, but I thought I could just bend the lines to fit.Can I?

Thanks

RR
