tightening my A frame 200 '88

can i reemove the knuckle that holds my a frame to the car frame and then replace it without having the need for added 'push'?? i have been retorqueing my suspension bolts but could not get to the A frame bolt behind this knuckle piece. the only way i could see getting to it easily was to remove the knuckle, tighten it and then replace the knuckle. is there any pressure besides the weight of the A frame that will keep me from just lifting it back by hand and tightening it back??

thanks for the help.....
