Gauge Panel night illumination lamps inoper. 200 1989

I did the Temperature Compensation Board fix on my 89 245 (clean pins, squeeze pinchers). When I hooked it all back up, the gauge illumination bulbs did not come back on. The illumination bulbs around the AC and the Gear Shift did however. The fuses are fine. The single wire on the back corner (behind the gas gauge) is yellow with red stripe. There are several other orphan wires back there (one is white with red stripe). Any suggestions on getting the gauge illumination bulbs to work?

By the way, the Temp Comp Board fix worked great! The gauge sits right on the center marking as it should! Glad that I read the Brickboard before I tried changing the Thermostat!! Thanks y’all!!

Thanks in advance.
