About to begin the transplant ('95' b230ft) 200 1988

Just about to begin this project. Waiting for a

2 1/2 inch downpipe from SAM and the M90 from

Bildemontering. I have been corresponding with Rolf,

whose English is excellent. I highly recommend them

for recycled parts from Sweden.

My mechanic in N.Y. (Nino Gambino) he is wondering if the

input shaft splines are the same on the M90 as the

splines on a M46 or M47. He is hoping to use the same

performance disc that usually uses. I will try to use the intercooler from the 940 turbo (if it fits). Possibly I will install an oil cooler.

Nino says we will have to create a nipple on the downpipe for the O2 sensor. Also we need a cat from a 740. The car already has a complete IPD

suspension with Tokico shocks. Sixteen inch 940t wheels with 205/55/16.

Hope to upgrade to 215/50 or 225/50. Remenber, I am not a mechanic, but I am learning much about finding Volvo parts. Here is a pix of the car with the 940t wheels.
