Trunk water leak-Any common areas to check? 700 90

My trunk is usually damp on both sides right behind the wheel wells. The trunk seal looks fine, no rips or cuts. Are there any common leak areas to check? I know Merkurs used to leak behind the tail-light lenses. Maybe the seal is just old? If nothing else I can stay in the trunk with a flashlight and have someone spray around with a hose but I don't want to feel like I'm in Goodfellas. :)

Thanks for any help.

Lou
