Anyone ever used Cibie' headlights??? 200 1983Ti

Last night my passenger side headlight went out, and before replacing it with the standard Halogen bulb, I thought about maybe converting to the euro spec Cibie' replacements. I would start with the low beams, then as I can afford it, purchase the high beams.

Question. Has anyone used these on their 81-85 240 series, with the dual square lights, and if so, how well did they perform? I know that I could just drop in a replacement for cheap, so I would like to check with people before justifying the cost of these headlights ($68 each).

Thanks for any info that can be provided. My current lights are not very impresssive, and in my state (WA) euro spec lights are legal in all cars.
