Re: Front wheel alignment 700 1990

Caster is adjustable by replacment of control arm strut rod.

How would these have become unbalanced as to need a different length control rod? Would one side be replaced so as to compensate for the other side or would both unequally worn rods be replaced and hence again be equal? I have seen these for sale on ebay and IPD they seem to be pretty cheap -bummer- since I just had the bushings replaced.

Thanks for your help.

I had to stray from my normal trusty mechanic who has since ceased alignments. He says he can't compete with the chains that pump out alignments for 39.99. What a pisser I always get burned when I go somewhere else.

Since I get the 6 mos. warranty I am going to exhaust the local Firestones in hope of finding one that may know the Volvo. Unfortunately I am poor!
