Small front door speaker replacement? Wacko idea for rear.. 140-160 1985

What did we decide are the best small speakers to replace the wonderful Volvo Sound small front door speakers??....one is blown and the other sounds like a popcorn fart.

I took the rear door hatchet job install speakers out, ran new Monster cables to the back compartment and installed Bose 301's laying in the back. Bungee'd to the floor and back of rear seat with a black rubber bungee from the cargo hooks. Interesting. Input from audio guys, please.

I'll need new rear door panels - right now the holes are covered nicely with aluminum tape...spray painted black!!
