You might be able but you need special tools just to work on the rear.

The diff cant' be removed without spreading the casing apart slightly.

Setting the depth of the ring and pinion is a trial and error procedure

until its set correct. I used a pro to install my torque sensing diff

and the labor was $460US. Usually its only about $300 but my car needed

a some extra work. That is just the labor. You probably need to buy a

new ring and pinion which means new bearings, shims, and while you are in

there you might want to do the rear bearings if the car has a lot of

miles.

The cheapest route is probably to install a good complete rear axle from the salvage yard if you want to do the repair yourself. Try to get an axle from a turbo they are the heavy duty 1031 model. Although I'm sure a regular model would probably be fine for a stock turbo.
