Re: HELP NEEDED: What's your mileage?

You will certainly be able to get more money from them if you provide some sort of receipt history or maintenance history.

And by more, I mean a FEW DOLLARS MORE. They are stingy. Still, when I lost my '87 244GL last October, the insurance VALUE of the car was $3800, with 250,000 miles, and it sustained almost $10k worth of damage. I was impressed, as I bought the car 2 years prior, and only paid $3500. And it was totaled once more since, but I had it rebuilt so it could be officially totaled three times in one life!

Anyway, you won't get very far, although you could theoretically spend a LOT of time trying.

Personal injury attorneys are an insurance company's worst enemy. That's just a statement of fact. Make of it what you will.
