Begining to regret Volvo...... 900 91

the other day i did a simple valve cover gasket replacement on my 16V, was VERY careful and still broke off a nut AND ending up with the cover developing a hairline crack. my title say that this was a $30,000 car when new and this is what i'd expect to happen on one of those crappy Le Cars. well, just yesterday i cleaned my trottle body, being very careful and following the simple steps and now the idle races up to 2000 rpm and down to 1500 then up again! i've checked everything until i'm blue in the face. btw, i had the timing belts changed last week and by the advice of the service manager, new front seals as well(it didn't leak a drop before)...now it's leaking a river from where it seems to be under the main fan pully. i could just run this thing off a cliff!

thanks...i had to get it off my chest!
