I haven't had to remove the door panels to replace speakers. Drill out the existing rivets. Go to a decent supply house/hardware store and purchase 8 J-clips. They slide over the fiber board of the the door panel and accept a sheetmetal screw> Use #8 or #10 screws and clips. Use at least one screw on each door that is long enough to require a pilot hole in the inner door sheet metal for it to penetrate. This will firmly attach the heavy speaker to something besides the punky fiberboard. Just remember to remove the longer screws if you ever try to remove the door panel.
