here is a strange one for you (has anyone else had this problem). Every few months or so, I will come to a stop sign and the engine will cut out for just a second or two (the idle will drop off to ~100 rpm). It will not completely stop, but will 'restart' and go up to the proper idle speed (the rpm does not go above an idle). no codes are set. It only occurs when I am going at high speed (50mph or more) and come to a quick stop. It happened again last night. Just before it happened, I noticed that when I stepped on the brakes, the headlights and the dash lights would flicker just for an instant. I stopped the car, and restarted it. When this was done, there was no light flicker when I stepped on the brakes.

does anyone have any ideas where I should start looking for the 'problem'?
