Thank you for your well worded response. As a lurker on this mailing list

I have come to respect your opinion and was actually hoping that you would respond to my message. Thanks for taking the time.

I have acces to welding equipment as well as a Sawzall. I had not thought

about using a Sawzall to cut away the bad metal but it is a great idea.

A local roofing company will sell pieces of sheet metal cut to order at

various gauges so that's where I'll be getting the patch material.

I've heard good things about POR-15. I think I'll give it a try.
