irs swaybars 700 1988

I just had my IPD irs swaybar kit installed on my 1988 760. Big improvement, but now I see I need stickier rubber if I wish to drive like that all the time. The ride is a bit rougher on the bumps. I am very happy, but have only driven a little bit so far. 'Beat' a BMW 740il on the curved freeway onramp on the way back to work.

The loud turbo noise I was hearing was just a loose hose. Very happy to not have to replace that right now.

I had new powergrove rotors installed a couple weeks ago, and they helped with the fade problem, used with metallics. The brakes still shook before I had the shop resurface the rear rotors today.

Today was the best $300 I have ever spent on a car. Feels much more like a modern and safe vehicle.

Mike
