Installing an AC system correctly (the first time) 200 1991

Hello,

It is finally getting to be warm enough to work under the hood of my car, and I am going to attempt to install a new AC system. My compressor shot craps on me this winter, and never worked in the first place.

So now I have purchased a compressor to replace it.

I will also be buying a new expansion valve and drier.

My car was retrofitted with r134 prior to my owning it.

I want to use r134 (cheaper) and I want to do the job right (minimal leaking, and future maintanance)

What all will I need to do this (parts, tips, tricks, etc)??

I searched the archives, but didn't find anything really detailed about a DIY job on the AC system.

I'm willing to almost put it together myself and have a shop fill it full of coolant and check for leaks for me.

ANYTHING, but suffering thru another summer with no AC.

So any links or text files describing the job in a post 1991 240 will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Luke
