Easy way to change compressor belt.

Read previous post about problems when changing compressor belt on V. 900.

When you'r fanbelt goes you are recommended to change the compressor belt at the same time. But as you know it is a bit harder to loosen the compressor adjustments because there is one nut hidden in the back of the compressor. The alternator is no problem though. The problem with the compressor belt is solved in about 30 seconds. Just take a knife and cut the old one off. Then put the new one over the compessor pulley and the other end half way over the pulley which is on the engine. Now turn that pulley with a appropriate wrench on the not that is in the center of the pulley. This will force the belt in place just like that. If you want to play it unsafe, turn the engine with the starter and this will also work.
