Tachometer and Clock 200 1985

My Volvo 240 DL has a large analog clock in the instrument cluster. It keeps time only when it feels like it. Someone on another board said you can put a tachometer in the place of the clock and a small 52mm clock in one of the black squares next to the radio. Has anyone done this and if so how do I do it and where do I get the parts. Also how much. Thanks much.
