Re: starting problem 700 1989

Brad:

Check the Radio Suppression Relay and the Fuel injection Relay. For what its worth, I am having a similar problem with my 92 745t. However, the cause is very elusive. You might also check the gas cap to see if it is venting properly, the ECT sensor has been know to cause hot start problems and the fuel pressure regulator. To check the fuel pressure regulator (FRP), pull the vacum line between the FRP and the intake manifold. IF there is gas in it, replace the FRP. Also, read the 700/900 FAQ. There are several areas that deal with hot start problems.

Good luck.
