Re: 164E question... 140-160 1974

I had a 164e and I loved it. If you like the car, do a quick check yourself, and drive it to a copmpetant mechanic. I can get a car inspection for $40 Canadian, and they will tell me everything that is wrong (and the seriousness of each issue) It's a good policy. The mechanics usually expect they will end up doing the work, so it is USUALLY a thorough search. You may find you can do all the stuff yourself, but the odd thing the shop will be better equipt for. Think about it.

Otherwise, The 3 speed auto won't win you any drag races, but I liked it for cruising town, and the odd highway trip. It;s a comfy, classy car.
