As a "rookie" I can't really speak with any level of experience unless you count four weeks worth of ownership. Having said that, yes there are other cars that are built well but if you own a Volvo (an old one) it seems that we all need something to justify all the repair time and devotion right??? The pure pleasure of driving these vehicles (when they start of course!)is beyond description in my mind. If you are mechanically disadvantaged as I am, you live with the little things and hope you can learn fast enough to catch the "big things" before they kill your car. Keep reading the posts & FAQ's I'm beginning to know just enough to be dangerous!!! As for Carol, other then getting our posts via email, I'm sure she is long gone from this site, enjoying her new little car.
