Vaccuum system/ vent air diverted during accelleration 700 1990

I know I have seen a post that is real close. Can't seem to find it now that I need it.

Anyway, whenever the turbo begins to supply a positive pressure to the intake manifold (watching boost gauge) the A/C air flow is diverted from the front vents to the floor or defrost mode.

I have tested the vaccuum check valves leading to the climate control- OK. If I pull one of these lines, the vents do the same thing. Definately vaccuum related.

Unfortunately, I have no idea if there are any other check valves, "vaccuum resivoirs", aux pumps, etc... in the system.

Any ideas? General leak or notorious part?

Thanks in advance,

Stephen
