The trick is to find the harvy guage frame mteal (like a thick wire) that rund the bottom of the seat base, along the carpet. About 18" in from each side this rim needs to be puches toward the rear to clear a half-circle clamp that's welded to the floor.

Push back about an inch and lift. Do both sides, then the rear of the seat will be easy to unhook from equally spaced floor hooks. The wire in the seat frame loop over these. Again push the now raised seat backwards to clear the hooks.
