Re: 940's gas mileage against a Wrangler's 900 1995

Well, figure that the Wrangler also probably has 4WD, which sucks gas just to turn the parts when it isn't engaged. Plus if it has 4WD it's probably--but not definitely--riding on tires that have more resistance (fatter).

Also a Wrangler has crappy aerodynamics. So, even if the 940 takes more gas to GET to speed, the Wrangler probably takes more just to keep it AT speed.

I think the 940 is quieter than a 4cyl Wrangler for certain. The Jeep four cylinders make a real racket. Half of it is because they are usually not insulated very well.
