940GLE 2.4TD Diesel Engine Problems 900 1994

I have had a 940GLE 1994 2.4TD auto estate in UK for now a year, which has only done 62K miles, its had a head gasket already changed by the previous owner, it seems I am loosing a lot coolant, I think the head gasket has gone again in such a short time again. I have noticed there is a lot of reverse pressure built up in the coolant reservaiour tank when the engine is running. Although it starts perfectly even in cold temperatures.

The temp needle starts of in the middle as the engine warms up then quickly shoots to the red and returns back, I have noticed water shooting out of the exhaust too, it will do this 3/4 times in a 40mile motorway journey that I do daily.

Has anyone had such a problem and know if the engine is on its way out as the head gasket has already been changed.

I like my 940 very much, I was thinking of maybe converting the VW diesel engine with another more reliable diesel engine.

Any help will be appreciated.
