Oil pressure sensor from a 1981 GLT 200 1989

I discovered an old 1981 242 GLT who was slowly dying in the backyard of someone last week. I asked her if I can take some parts off her old car. I took the oil pressure sensor and guage (3 bar).

Here is my question: are these sensors enough reliable to install it on my car without and doubt of not working problem? I expect that the connector marked "G" is for the guage and the other marked "WK" is for some swedish word referring to the in-dash warning light. The original engine was a B21A and mine is the B230F... will it work properly on my car?

Last question: what is the socket size to remove my current oil pressure switch?(it's the long one with the round connector) I have a 1" but it's slightly too big.

thanks!!
