BRAKES 140-160 74

My old Nelly(1974 144), is playing tircks on me, I think I know what is going on but would like others opinion. I put new brake pads all around on the old girl about 3 months ago, ever since then the red idiot light on the dash board lights up all the time. Yes I bleed the brakes according to the book. and the brakes work really good!!!!! well until this morning, one of the front calipers seems to be sticking on and creating a little too much friction and smoke and brake dust everywhere. my question, is the red light warning me of nothing or did it sence the sticking caliper all along and this morning it just stuck longer than any time in the past? The funny thing is I drove Nelly out for lunch and the "stuck" caliper was not stuck any more although it was a little warmer when I got back from lunch it by no means was sticking. Can a caliper stick on one braking and then not on the next?
