John Sargent, still have engine? 700 90

John Sargent,

I have often benefitted from your many postings on the BrickBoard... thanks

Now in response to your available B230FT, if it is still available... I am in need of an engine to replace the overheated one in my 90 B230FT 740 wagon. The turbo is fine, but the engine is shot. Too much blow by, low cylinder pressure.

Similar experience, the previous owner claims to know nothing of the overheating or of the odometer being ran back.

If you are still interested in selling the engine, please let me know through e-mail or a posting here. I am in the Virginia Beach area.

The mechanic wants to charge me $600 plus the price for gaskets to swap engines. Is this a fair price or not?

Thanks,

William Polania
