'92 In Tank Pump = '87 In Tank Pump ? 200 1987

I need to replace my in tank fuel pump/sending unit (actually I only need to replace the top plate and the pipes because they have rusted through) and I've found a scrap yard that has a '92 in the yard. Is there any difference between this '92 unit and my '87 unit?? If so, then will it hinder my switcheroo?
