Timing belt marks 200 84

First time on a timing belt,everything is going smooth. The rope trick works slick, I got the belt on with two of the marks matching, I can't line up the crank(belt) mark cause I can't see it. I figure I got it and take two turns and everything matches except the belt marks are way off.Shouldn't matter huh? Thanks, Ron
