Surging at start up 900 1991

Hello!

I an a happy owner for the last 7 years of a 1991 940 turbo. The only problem I have ever had ( still have ) is when it is first started cold it will surge at idle until I hit the gas ( 2000 rpm ) for about 5 sec. Then it idles normal. Does not do it warm. The car has 128k on it. Thanks!
