Confused about which coil wire??? 700 92

Bought an OEM spark plug wire set from alloemparts.com with coil wire for the '92 740 nonturbo wagon. The problem is that my old coil wire is different from the new one. The old coil wire has female ends (coil has male end) and the new coil wire has male ends and won't fit. What gives? Do I need a special coil wire? Thanks
