steering pump. Im perplexed 700 87

Hello board,

I put the steering pump on. Im remember torquing it. But about 1 week and 1/2 later the fitting was loose and leaking badly.

What did I do wrong?

I re did the job. However, this time I applied a bit of loctite to the threads. Everything is ok, But Im still a bit uneasy.

According to the bently manual the fitting is torqued to 15 ft lbs, and the first time I did this job Im sure I put quite a bit more than that. But it seems that would have made it less likely to come loose.
