my '87 B280F is running fine with 130,000 miles on it. its never needed any major engine repair. the horsepower figure is 145 @ 5100 rpm. max torque is 173 ft.lbs. @ 3750 rpm. i've heard that the B28F engines were very bad and that the B280F is a major improvement. i guess it all comes down to maintenance. i just wish companies made perfomance parts for it. IPD basically has nothing for it.
