Hey Brandon:

I had the same problem with low coolant level. Saw a message on Steve Ringlee's FAQ about it. Seems that the grey coolant recovery bottle cap is defective. Replaced mine with a green one and haven't had a problem with it since. I bought mine at the volvo dealer because I couldn't find it elsewhere around here, but I understand Stant makes it and you can get it at auto parts stores that stock Stant products.
