Re: 780 V6 engine 700 87

From what I've heard and read (agreeing with Lawr C.) before '87 the V6 was crap. My B280F has almost 124K on it and is quieter and smoother (and quicker) than my wifes Sable! No smoke, no leaks, very smooth. I like it better than the turbo b/c it has no whine. Maintenance is a HUGE issue, it needs prompt service and thank God I have all the history on my car! I heard that at some point Borla made "headers" for it! No luck in finding anything about that! I to wish there were more performance part's for it, custom made stuff is WAY expensive. The 780 period is hard to find performance parts for.
