blown Boge rear shock.......ever happen to you? 700 89

about two weeks ago I put new IPD rear boge turbo gas shocks on the rear of my 745T. yesterday I noticed a small spot of fluid near the rear inner tire. I thought at first it was brake fluid until I pulled the wheel and saw the lower shock coated with fluid and the brake line dry as a bone. Now I hope IPD will replace it without charge.
