Howling Front Brake 200 1991

Many Thanks to all contributed to my 245's problems of this past Feb.'01. It turned out to be an intermittent functioning Air Mass Meter, along with a wicked vacuum leak between the new bellow and the throttle body, the throttle body seemed to be out of round, by design who knows a smoke test performed by a local radio show host/super mechanic - worth listening to on wor710.com on Sunday mornings between 10am and 12pm eastern time found the problem. The dealer is out of the picture. My present problem which has worsened over time is a howling front left brake. For years it always sounded if it were grinding the rotor, I took the wheels off more times to see if I was down to the backing plate on the pads, only to find out that there was plenty of pad left. Now the sound is so bad that under semi aggressive braking people will actually turn around and look at the car. There is a shudder coming through the steering wheel as well. The problem doesn't show itself when you first begin to drive it in the morning, it takes a couple of traffic lights for it to make the problem known, but once it starts it is there for the rest of the day. The only way to avoid the sound is to brake gently with greater distances to the stop. Is this a grabbing issue? I don't believe so there is no pulling. It is one bad sound though. Any help would be appreciated. My wording is so that it doesn't sound like anything answered in FAQ's
