Re: Differences between '85 and '86? 200 85

Well, you're aware of the differences in the grille, headlights, front sheet metal, etc. The seat headrests are different ("dished" style in the '86, "flat" in the '85). There may be a few other minor trim differences - black tape under the windows on the '86 as opposed to the chrome trim pieces on the '85, but for all intents and purposes, the cars are mechanically identical.

IMHO, the main things to look for in used 240s of this vintage are wiring harness rot and rust in the floors, and both the '85 and '86 model years were prone to these maladies.
