I knew it was too good to last.... 900 1995

Good Old Christine....

She's been behaving for the last year or so, I knew it couldn't last and it didn't.

1995 960......

On dead cold start, within seconds it develops this real bad mis-fire and shaky idle, the steering wheel shakes.

When it warms up a little, or you goose the throttle, it settles down. But this is a new trick.

I know it has an intermittent miss under heavy load, I am suspecting one or more of the coils are going bad and I'll pursue that theory in a bit when the car gets cooler. I even have two spares to try out.

But any other suggestions are going to be greatly appreciated. I don't want to be riding my bike 10 miles to work, at 4:30 in the morning.
