In Pittsburgh: 1. brake noise 2. mirror 200 1990

Hi,

After 2500 miles, 50 hours of driving, I am now in Pittsburgh. The old volvo is really a work horse (but, the acceleration is bad especially when I crossed the mountain yesterday). Everything is OK, except for some minor things:

1. The rear brakes make noise, like scream. I can't figure out the problem. It happened when I drove through Atlanta in rush hour (the worst experience I had.... ) Then, the next day, it's gone when I started to drive, however, every time when I drove it for 200 miles, the noise came back. Any idea? Also, would you please recommend a good shop in Pittsburgh so that I can get it checked.

2. The left front mirror was broken by some bad guy when I was in Alabama, so I need buy a new mirror, where I can buy it in Pittsburgh?

Thanks for your help!

Shawn
