Question,Don Foster/solder guru 200 83

Good morning Don and Bricksters,

Among my latest projects on my recently recomissioned 242glt is fuel delivery issues.Specifically in-tank and main fuel pumps.Replaced in tank pump and noisy main persists as well as some hesitation on less than half tank.

Anyway, while replacing several times, long story, the main fuel pump I was changing out the valve in the pump which required bending the +/- prongs and ended up breaking the prongs off.Can I resolder these prongs.I realize the danger of working with heat around gas.But the pump is good and I hate to trash it

Thanks

RR
