Re: back seat width 200 1989

I'm kind of there myself with the three kids in seats. I've got the three in the back of my 240 wagon but it's awfully snug back there. I've tried a 700 and yes there is definitely more room for the three seats.

I've yet to do a roadtrip with this configuration, but I do have the luxury of the third seat to resort to, which in turn would mean a Thule for the top for luggage. I was thinking 700 or 900 series too but could save quite a few bucks by sticking to my 240 with a $500 Thule versus the upgrade to

700-900 series. (at least a few thousand)
